We are excited to host qualified and select students to attend the Amplify your Future workshop to develop and refine your skills while making meaningful connections. The goal of the series is to provide you with valuable skills and resources as you launch your career in public accounting. We will provide a variety of skill development and mentoring opportunities to help you assess your values, skills, and interests as you map out your career, and students who successfully complete the program will have early interview access for 2027 Tax and Audit business internships.
What you’ll do
During this semester long accelerator (three dates), you will be involved in a session geared towards developing key skillsets to prepare you for success. This program will consist of a series of workshops and networking opportunities hosted Deloitte's Milwaukee Office, culminating in social activity. All travel expenses will be reimbursed to you.
An overview of the workshop is provided below:
January 9, 2025: Kick-Off | Deloitte Office | 1pm
March 2025: Skill-building sessions and roundtables | Deloitte Office (exact date and time will be communicated to students at the kick-off)
Late April/Early May 2025: Wrap Up Social
Participant Requirements:
· Business major with a strong interest in accounting (you do not have to be declared accounting majors just yet, but we are looking for students with a strong interest in doing so)
· A 150 credit hour graduation date of December 2027 - May 2028
· Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving skills, and strong written and verbal communication skills
· Strong academic credentials (Minimum GPA of 3.1)
